The Goatman - Joshua - Second Hour

[Figure 1]

The goatman is from around the United States. He has been seen from Maryland, to Texas, and even in the nation’s capital. Reports sometimes go in come in about a creature known only as the goatman. Unlike most Cryptids, this universal creature has had its description disputed for a while. People say he is a man with a goat head and similar to the image of satin. The goat man in known to be 6 to 12 feet. My opinion on the goatman is that I think he is real. I believe he has roamed the earth for a couple years now.

The most recent sighting was in 2000, when construction workers reportedly saw a 12 foot “sasquach-like” creature that was roaming through the suburbs of Washington D.C. Hunters in Alabama have also seen the creature, and a rash of pet disappearances in Maryland, I was blamed on the goatman. On November 10, 1971 in Northern prince Georges County, Maryland a couple were in their car making out and getting snug with the lights dimmed on “lovers lane” and suddenly the goatman rushes out of the foliage and starts pounding on the hood with his double head axe.

While the creatures’ physical traits are in dispute, no one ever argues over the goatmans apparently aggressive behavior. The goatman or similar creatures have been attacking pets, throwing dogs over overpasses and even attacking cats. Most shocking of all, the crimes against automobiles seem to be done with an instrument similar to an axe. Since the creature uses an axe, it is the only known cryptid hominid to use tools, much less weapons.

If people in the United States have seen the goatman, then my opinion on him is that he is real. The most outlandish of these tails tells of a University professor who was transformed into a mutant goatman by his own hand and roams the woods with an axe and a chip on his shoulder. Most down to earth people say hat the goatman is just a disturbed individual.
